South Wales developer Broadhall and Richard Froggatt's London & Wharfedale have teamed up in a new joint venture.

At the same time Froggatt, who quit as a director of St Modwen Properties this summer, has joined theboard of Chepstow-based Broadhall as a non-executive director.

Broadhall Wharfedale, the new jv, will target development and regeneration business in South and West Wales.

Froggatt has most recently worked for St Modwen on the acquisition of part of the former Llanwern steelworks site, South Wales, and the Britannia Zinc site at Avonmouth, near Bristol.

Broadhall founder Mike Davies said, "His interest in joining with Broadhall particularly including our new joint venture shows a major vote of confidence in the projects we are undertaking throughout the M4 corridor of South Wales."
